| camping at elora gorge |

We usually do our annual end of summer camping trip right before Labor Day.  This year we decided on Elora Gorge Provincial Park. The Elora Gorge is one of the most beautiful and spectacular natural area in the Grand River valley. The Grand River rushes through the gorge, which has 22-metre high cliffs. Riverside trails and scenic overlooks provide hikers with stunning views of the water far below where you can see the kayakers and tubers go by.  We are lucky enough to have an our step-dad Mark join us and use his RV for our fancy accommodations for the trip.  No more tents!  We like to call it “glamping” from now on.  This is a fun & great cost-effective weekend get-away trip for the family.
