Recently back from our girls trip to Negril, Jamaica with my sister and daughter. We rented an amazing 2 bedroom condo along Seven Mile Beach at a wonderful little property called Beach House Condos Negril. Five days of pure relaxation, swimming in the Caribbean Sea, sight-seeing, spectacular sunsets, delicious food, all while enjoying the best company of my sis and daughter. The hospitable Jamaican people made the trip even more special as everyone we met treated us so kindly. I love Jamaica, mon! Can’t wait to go back again soon.
On the way to Negril from Montego Bay airport, Red Stripe and Wata in hand! Our driver stopped off at a roadside restaurant so we could try authentic jerk!First meal of our trip, a traditional Jamaican breakfast of course! Included ackee and salt fish, festival, plantains, coconut water…so delish! Some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen.A boat day trip to Booby Cay IslandWhere we had the most delicious and fresh lobster lunch.A selfie on one of our condo terraces.Yet another gorgeous sunset.Elli horseback riding with Brown SugarI’ve always wanted to be in the water with a horse. Such a great way to end our trip. Until next time!
Just got back from sunny Florida! It was a fun, HOT trip. Temperatures stayed in the 90’s with some afternoon rain showers which helped cool off the crazy heat. We stayed at Bonnett Creek Resort which is within the Disney complex, & where my brother has a timeshare. No Disney World parks this year! We chose to go Universal Studios this time, and so happy we did as all of us, including the adults had an amazing time! Florida is always a good idea……
Our annual mother daughter trip to New York was filled with lots of fun, food, shopping, walking, more walking, and squishy hunting! We stayed at The Gansevoort in the Meatpacking District, our new favorite hotel in the city! Eat: breakfast at Bubby’s and Star Diner, Eataly, Serafina, the food halls in both the Chelsea and Gansevoort Markets. Room Service! We also used Uber Eats one night & ordered fast food to our room. Squishy Store: Elizabeth Center in Chinatown. Walking: The Highline, Washington Square, Union Square, Soho, Greenwich Village, Flatiron District, Chelsea, Tribeca. I ❤ New York.
